Σπαστικότητα Χεριού
Hand spasticity is typically caused by brain injuries, such as strokes or trauma, which lead to increased muscle tone and stiffness in the hand. Depending on the extent of the injury, spasticity may affect a single limb (monoplegia), one side of the body (hemiplegia), or all four limbs (quadriplegia).
Treatment goals
The primary aim of our corrective procedures is to reduce the spasticity that can lead to hygiene challenges in the hand, while also restoring as much function as possible.
